Braxton was so homesick for daddy; he would go around the house and start crying and looking for his "dada dada da". It was so cute, but at the same time broke my heart to see him actually miss his daddy so much.

On Tuesday Mitch will be going in for Shoulder surgery and will be home from work for a couple weeks, so I hope we don't get too sick for not having him around for 2 weeks then have him 24/7 for 2 weeks. :D I am planning a lot of things so I hope he will be able to do them or at least come along for the ride.

Onto better news.....We are expecting baby #2, due September 10th! We are so excited. We will find out the sex April 16th (which I would like to keep it a surprise, but Mitch wants to find out.) Plus it will help make it less stressful to decide on what name we are looking for boy or girl.

Our Busy Life

Well so many things have happened since the last update. Camille and I through something together so it didn't look like we were just taking them around so we could get candy. We went truck-or-treating earlier in the week and the boys got the hang of reaching out and getting the candy to put in their baskets. Well the first house we went to the person was dressed so scary and had a mask on and talked in a creepy voice. Braxton's grip got tighter and then he let out the screaming and crying....poor little thing didn't want to go up to the next houses after that, he held me so tight as we rang each door bell.

Braxton loved Christmas.....the presents are fun but he loved ripping up the paper the best. Braxton is such a Daddy's boy. He also has the top 4 teeth growing in. He is such a little stinker...he will be sitting on the ground with his back to the wall and just bang his head off the wall. I will tell him "Braxton no, don't do that, you are going to hurt yourself," well the crazy little man will look at me and laugh and keep doing it harder and harder.

I really can't believe in a couple weeks he will be a year old. It's usually a guy thing to go on this hunt, but after 3 years of being promised that I could go...I finally was allowed to. I had a lot of fun just being Mitch and I and hiking around and seeing the animals.

The second morning of the hunt it started to snow on us as we were hiking through the mountains. Mitch and I sat down to take a break and eat our cheese and crackers, we were just talking(kind of loud for being hunters) and saying how cool it would be if an elk was just right there in front of us....when we get us to get moving on. Mitch looked in the bushes and seriously less then 30 feet away was a spike elk. Turns out there were 8 females and a 4 point with the spike. It was really cool.
Well of course he shoots it, and the whole process after that which really grossed me out. We had to end up getting horses to get the meat off the mountain. In just 2 more months we will be celebrating his 1 year old birthday...and I better get planning. Braxton is walking pretty good from person to person and couch to toys and back. He also loves to give mommy kisses. (they are the sweetess, slobbery kisses but I love them anytime.) The past week he has been pretty sick (earache, sore throat, stuffy nose, and the 2 top teeth about to come in.) this last week, poor baby. It has been a lot of late nights....but we were able to sit still and watch movies, he is just loving the Disney collection. We watched 101 Dalmatians TWICE in one night, and Peter Pan. He is so cute watching them, all of a sudden he would just bust up laughing for no reason...what a stinker.

Mitch came home early from Air Assault Training. He injured his back and they sent him home. We are waiting to get an appointment at the VA Hospital to see what is going on for sure. He was really disappointed but plans on going back in 6 months if they will let him.

We are doing great. I am still waitressing at The Cowboy's Smokehouse here in town...waiting for something to open up in the Military for Mitch to go back to work. We are planning on finding a place in Northern Utah and plan to move up there soon.

What's Going On

On July 18th, my brother married his fiance C'era in the St. George Temple. It was very fun and relaxing.

Cruisin'

Last minute Mitch and I were invited to go on a cruise. We were suppose to go to Catalina then a day at sea then on to Ensenada, but do to Swine Flu Carnival Cruise line won't go to Mexico. So we ended up spending a day at Catalina and two days at sea. After getting back from Catalina Island we were suppose to attend the Captains Dinner. Right in the middle of dinner the dining room ceiling started leaking water...turns out the pool broke and came through, a couple rooms were flooded. So after day one no more captains dinners or swimming pool. So all we had to do was gamble :D We had a fun time. Braxton was left at my mom and dad's house for the week they had so much fun and he was spoiled to death.

<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5343131646804004402" style="DISPLAY: block; He is getting so big he says "mama", "ah-ma"(grandma), and he will mimic you when you say "hi"(except when he says it, its really high pitched and dragged out "hhhhiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeee"). We are trying to work on "dada", but he just stares at you. I'm thinking he isn't going to crawl for a while (he hates being on his stomach). He is pretty close to walking.....he has the motion of his feet down, it's just balancing that is the problem. I'm so glad, we can walk into Wal-Mart without having to worry about some punks deciding to start something with my husband (seriously just about every time).

It will be really good for Braxton to grow up with family around. Mitch will be doing a lot of training for the guard for the next couple of months. So I asked my sister if she would come down and house sit our house and of course Riddick since we couldn't take him. She and Adam came down for a whole week and brought guitar-hero....(something Mitch and I need to get) we had so much fun, and I'm sure Riddck loved the company. Thank you guys for coming and helping us out. I do, Mitch is pretty stubborn.
*Who kissed who first? It was mutual.
*Who asked who out first? Also mutual.
*Who wears the pants? I would have to say we both do....we talk and then decide.

I tag anyone who reads it.

My Cowboy

My little cowboy...don't you just love the boots? We were told that he isn't doing the best and his time will be coming soon (it wasn't the first time we heard this for Grandpa.) but we drove Braxton up to see his Grandpa Great for the first and last time, that night he died. Grandpa's funeral was this last weekend in Panguitch. I have been to many funerals with Mitch as he does his military service, but nothing compared to him doing it for his Grandpa. It was really neat. We love and miss Grandpa Roe, but know that he is having a better time in Heaven.

Growing Up

Braxton is growing so big...just last week we went for a doctor visit and he now weighs 9 lbs. We figured we needed a little vacation/get away and went up to Panguitch for the weekend. Nobody was expecting us so it was a good suprise. Grandma was SOOO excited to see her baby boy. Riddick loved going and playing with the 7 little puppies and running around (anything beats staying in the house). Mitch and I let Grandma tend while we went out bunny hunting, we had a great time.

Braxton Mitchell Moore

On October 21st, 2008 at 12:42 pm, we welcomed Braxton Mitchell Moore into our little family. He weighed 8 lbs and was 20 inches long (and the doctor said he would be a small baby). It was a long labor about 36 hours, but after the epidural...I was in heaven. Mitch and I are very excited to have this new little baby in our lives. He is such a perfect little thing. He hardly cries and is sleeping about 5-7 hours straight through the night. We couldn't of asked for anything better. He looks like the both of us, he has Mitch's eyes and mouth, my nose and chin and both of our chubby cheeks. Riddick (our other baby-the dog) is getting use to the idea of the baby in the house. When Braxton makes noises Riddick is right there to see what is going on. We love our Braxton and can't imagine how our life was with out him. Thank you for everyone's help.

Thanks PAL!!!

Well yesterday Sara and Terron were down here in Vegas visiting.
